IM's - so many chats, so little time...

Chatting is becoming a way of life for most people these days, both in business and personal. But with the onslaught of so many different chat apps out there like Facebook chat, MSN, yahoo & Gmail, the latest new craze is fusing these apps together into one, where you can sign into one interface and reach anyone who's online in one of your social networks at any given time. Enter Meebo, Ebuddy, Google Talk, just to name a few. These funky new free apps combine your various social networking communities so there is no need to sign into 100 different appliations to chat with all of your available contacts.

But the one thing they don't do, is allow you to chat with contacts on your own blog or website. While it's great to be able to get in touch with friends from other social networking communities, what about the need to form a community within your own e-world? So I researched and found this cool software called ParaChat which is embeddable on most websites and allows users of that particular site to chat with one another. There is a free app but if you're willing to pay, it does a whole lot more cool stuff. Check it out
